Michelle Obama...Fashionista indeed!
First Lady hopeful, Michelle Obama gave her most inspirational speech of her career last night at the opening night of the National Democratic Convention in Denver, CO. She did so wearing a turquoise retro-inspired dress designed by Maria Pinto (famous for the purple sheath dress worn by Michelle a few months back).

YourBlackFashion: Great Style Runs In The Smith Family
Will Smith and his sons Trey (15) and Jaden (10) all look great at this years Teen Choice Awards. This family is famous for good looks!
YourBlackFashion: The Many Outfits of Michelle
Our "First Lady In Waiting" Michelle Obama has had some really cute outfits. She always looks classy, and her color choices are great! She goes for bold tones, though usually darker shades of each color, but it works for her, and it honestly could work for a lot of people! Here are some of my favorite Michelle Obama looks:
YourBlackFashion: Do You Like What The Stars Are Wearing?
PEOPLE.com's "Would You Wear This?" section featured some of our favorite ladies sporting the latest trends. What do you think?
Rihanna, Kim Kardashian & Katherine Heigl sport bright colored jackets.
Kerry Washington, Eve and Carrie Underwood wear fringed dresses with a 1920s feel.
These two fashion trends are being copied all over the country so you can find them for less, but such bright colors for jackets can go wrong very quickly. Be careful what you match them with-for safety (and as in the pictures) I would do black or dark wash denim. As for the dresses, make sure you don't look like a disco ball before you go out in public if you try to match these ladies. Pair the dress with some 1920s-like pin curls or a cute clutch purse for an evening out.
